Doctor Nguyen Duc Tuan, Director of the District Medical Center, said on November 19 that he is reviewing the list of drugs, medical equipment, and human resource estimates for mobile stations.
A week ago, Dr. Tuan said that the problem of mobilizing locations and medical forces for the mobile station was still difficult.
In Son Tay town, Mr. Pham Hung Son, Head of the Health Department, said that the commune will establish 17 mobile medical stations, of which the mobile station was rehearsed at Vien Son Primary School on November 10.
Son Tay also plans to select cultural houses or schools that have not yet accepted students or public locations with large areas to place mobile medical stations and move the stations according to the Covid-19 situation.
`The reason is that the station still needs mobile spaces to examine and separate F0 people and regular patients, and other activities such as promoting epidemic prevention and control, resting between shifts…`, Mr. Son said.
According to the Hanoi Department of Health, health stations were established based on a general request from the Ministry of Health, with the task of managing and monitoring F0 at home and in the community, testing, vaccination, and providing examination and treatment.
The mobile medical station model is not new, it has been applied in Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City since August. The stations will manage and care for patients as well as support the treatment of other diseases, helping people quickly.
However, unlike Ho Chi Minh City, mobile medical stations in Hanoi are not yet operational, some of them are only practicing because the city does not have a policy of quarantining and treating F0 at home.
Therefore, mobile stations have not yet prepared medicine bags for F0 at home like Ho Chi Minh City.
Mobile medical station staff in Giang Vo ward, Ba Dinh, Hanoi rehearsed taking test samples for hypothetical F0 on November 6.
Associate Professor Do Van Dung, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, assessed that timely establishment of mobile medical stations in Hanoi will help proactively respond to Covid-19.
Medical human resources and structure are decided depending on the scale and mission of the mobile medical station.
The next issue to pay attention to is ensuring enough medical support equipment.
`If we can equip and lend it to patients when necessary, it will help monitor F0 at home better. In addition, health stations also need other basic facilities such as medicine, temperature measuring devices,
Finally, support the patient.
On the evening of November 19, the Ministry of Health announced that Hanoi had 287 more cases of infection, bringing the total number of cases in Hanoi during the fourth epidemic to 7,336.
