Happiness of people 'not born at the finish line' 17
I belong to the last 7X generation, born and raised in Saigon in a family with material difficulties.
Luckily, my parents followed a strict educational perspective on ethics and lifestyle for their children from a young age.
When I was 40 years old, I achieved financial freedom with approximately one million USD in assets with my wife and two beautiful, obedient sons and daughters.
Suppose life has 100 days and has a level of material enjoyment from one to 100. There are four options:
– The first option: As soon as we are born, we enjoy the highest level of material enjoyment (ie 100).
– The second option, also starts with a material enjoyment level of 100 but lasts until the last day unchanged.
– The third option is to start at the lowest level of enjoyment, one, and continue until the last day.
– The fourth option, also starts with the lowest level of enjoyment on the first day of one.
We see that, in life, when we are in a certain environment, most of the time, after a while, we will gradually adapt.
We clearly see that people can only feel happy when living conditions get better every day and clearly see their future of continuous advancement.

Back to the original four life choices.
With the third option, we will also gradually get used to material hardship and over time will consider it normal.
With the first choice, our life is truly a tragedy, with each passing day we see our assets, career, and future gradually erode and die without any way to save it, and everyone around us becomes increasingly worse.
With the fourth option, although it starts from hardship, every day you see your life getting better and the future is open and full of promise, constantly developing, so each day that passes is the next happiness.
Through what has been said above, we can clearly see that being born at the finish line is not necessarily the luck or happiness that many people mistakenly think.
