Bac Giang quarantines a district with more than 300 Covid-19 cases 4

Viet Yen district is the epidemic center of Bac Giang province when two industrial zones Van Trung and Quang Chau have more than 100 infected workers.
On May 16, Chairman of Bac Giang province Le Anh Duong decided to quarantine 6,000 workers of Hosiden Company, Quang Chau Industrial Park, Viet Yen district, because it is a large outbreak.
On the same day, the Bac Giang Department of Health requested localities to test all workers of Korean companies in the area.

Since the beginning of May until now, Bac Giang province has recorded 3 outbreaks, of which the first case was discovered in Phuong Son commune, Luc Nam district (related to Hanoi K Hospital) and then infected 3 other people.
The second outbreak at SJ Tech Company, Van Trung Industrial Park (related to the Central Tropical Diseases Hospital Dong Anh facility, Hanoi) with 105 workers infected with Covid-19.
The third outbreak at Hosiden Vietnam Co., Ltd., Quang Chau industrial park, Viet Yen district, next to Van Trung industrial park with dozens of cases.
According to the authorities’ review, all F0 in this outbreak were discovered mainly in factory No. 4. All workers in factory 4 and factory 1 with nearly 900 people in the F1 category have been tested.
On the morning of May 16, Bac Giang recorded 98 additional cases related to the Hosiden Company outbreak, Quang Chau industrial park.
