Instructions for piloting F1 quarantine at home in Ho Chi Minh City, issued by the Ministry of Health on June 27, clearly state that due to the new virus strain spreading rapidly on a large scale, the number of people in close contact (F1) is very large, causing serious health problems.
Accordingly, the Commune People’s Committee in Ho Chi Minh City allows F1 to quarantine at home if they have their own house (villa, townhouse, independent house);
The isolation room has its own toilet and bathroom;
People in centralized quarantine have their temperatures measured and their health monitored every day by medical staff.
F1 has its own meal, brought by family members, and left at the table in front of the isolation room door.
People quarantined at home commit to local authorities not to leave the room;
F1 quarantine period at home is 28 days;
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Health, F1 (F0 contact) must be quarantined at a centralized location, F2 must be quarantined at home and wait for F1’s test results.
Currently, more than 12,000 people in Ho Chi Minh City are quarantined in centralized areas and about 26,000 people are quarantined at home.
The issue of F1 quarantine at home in Ho Chi Minh City was raised by Deputy Director of the City Department of Health Nguyen Huu Hung at a recent meeting on Covid-19 prevention.
