– How does the domestic comedian’s remuneration affect your decision to return?
– The remuneration for a performance in Vietnam is only half that of performing overseas but the frequency is higher.
Abroad, I perform only two shows a week at most.
– Some artists return by appearing consecutively in television game shows.
– When I returned, I also received many invitations to participate as a judge and director of many television shows, but I refused.

– What do you think if you say your generation is outdated compared to today’s audience’s taste in enjoying art?
– I never consider myself outdated, even though compared to our generation, current comedy scripts follow trends but leave little message in the hearts of the audience.

– How do you handle your skits to prove their timeliness?
– I am trying to reconcile my traditional way of creating scripts with current emerging trends.

– What do you say about the appeal of these works compared to the products of many rising comedians?
– I’m not afraid of competition because each artist has his or her own audience.
