Vietnamese American voters debate Biden's victory 3
Democratic candidate Joe Biden at noon on November 7 (US time) was simultaneously `named` by the media as the President-elect after winning the two states of Pennsylvania and Nevada, winning the total number of electoral votes.
However, Ms. Julia Ngo, a voter of Vietnamese descent in Westminster, California, has not recognized this result.
`The current vote count is only based on media reports, not official figures,` said Julia.
Trump supporters marched to protest the election results in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on November 7.
Like many supporters of President Trump and the Republican Party, Julia experienced many contrasting emotions over the past few days, from anxiety to joy and finally anger.
`Same affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, voting by mail together, why did the blue states of New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Vermont, Connecticut… have vote counting results very quickly, while the battle states
Ms. Huong Nguyen, another Trump supporter in the city of Houston in the red state of Texas, also does not believe that errors or mistakes in vote counting this year in some states are just accidental.
`As a volunteer assisting at the polling place on election day November 3, I found that voting directly via machine was organized very clearly and in accordance with the principles. The authorities created all conditions for all people to vote.
On a forum of Vietnamese people in the US, many Trump supporters expressed `not believing their eyes` when on November 3, Trump surpassed Biden with victory in battleground states such as Ohio, Florida or Texas.
Speaking at the White House on November 5, Trump accused Democrats of `trying to steal the election` and that he `would win easily if only valid votes were counted,` referring to late-arriving votes.
Vietnamese voters who supported Trump agreed with the President’s suspicions and believed that there was interference by `political tricks` in counting votes.
`The Trump team will not sue if they do not have evidence. They certainly have clear evidence of fraud by the Democrats,` Ms. Huong said.
Meanwhile, people of Vietnamese origin who support Biden also believe that Trump is `unreasonable` for hastily declaring victory right from the day the results were not finalized, then making unclear accusations when his opponent challenged him.
`I find it absurd that Trump so easily labels those who oppose him as being brainwashed by the media while Trump’s supporters are still indulging in fake news or groups spreading false conspiracy theories.`

Supporters celebrate Biden’s victory on November 7 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Huy Pham, a young man of Vietnamese origin in California, said that accusations of fraud have occurred in elections in American history, but in the end they are still just accusations.
Huy pointed out that many of the videos and images that Trump supporters spread widely online were completely fake news, such as a video of ballot counting staff allegedly filling in ballots themselves, when in reality they were just coloring in ballots.
`I can’t imagine so many people believing in such unauthenticated images and false information online,` he said.
Huy added that only in case Trump’s campaign can provide a basis and specific evidence for its allegations can the court accept the lawsuit.
Dinh Cong Bang, a neutral voter in the battleground state of Florida, agreed that the possibility of adding fake votes for Biden is very low because it is difficult to do in large numbers and easy to detect.
`The fact that ballot counting is late or takes longer than usual is because the number of mail-in ballots this year has exploded amid Covid-19 and the regulations on ballot receipt and counting time are different in each state,` technology expert
Despite Biden being named the winner, Trump declared that the election was `far from over` and would file a lawsuit in court on November 9.
The Republican Party has contacted many donors to raise at least $60 million for Trump’s legal battle over election results.
`Trump’s threat to sue the election results is not surprising given his long-standing personality,` said Mr. Luong Ta, a longtime supporter of the Democratic Party in California.
Mr. Luong Ta is happier that Trump was not re-elected than because Biden won, because he believes that the current President should not continue to be in office and divide America.
Meanwhile, voters loyal to Trump are determined not to be `satisfied` with the current results.
`Trump is a man of his word. Everything he does revolves around one principle: America first,` said Julia.
`President Trump will not accept defeat, he is the winner. I firmly believe, not hope, that everything will come to light,` Ms. Huong said.
Without revealing who he voted for, Mr. Bang also believes that Trump has the ability to bring a lawsuit to the US Supreme Court, but the possibility of changing the election results is very low.
`Biden’s victory is convincing not only in terms of electoral votes but also more than 75 million popular votes. However, support for Trump is also very strong. Trump did something that Republican candidates have never done
